We began collecting registered daylilies in 1982. We have been active in the American Hemerocallis Association (AHS) since 1998 and frequent three local daylily clubs. We began hybridizing our own varieties about 1996 and have since registered eleven of our own daylilies with AHS.
At present our gardens bear over eight hundred varieties of registered daylilies of all sizes including doubles, miniatures, and spiders. Last summer, six thousand of our own seedlings bloomed, and of these, only two seedlings were tagged to be registered with AHS.
We opened a Display Garden for AHS 1998. In this special garden visitors may view many popular and a few rare lilies that have been registered with AHS.
We are located in the hills North of Louisville, KY on the Indiana side of the Ohio River. (Region 2) Our peak daylily bloom is usually about July 1st, but the weather ultimately determines the actual peak of the season.
